This was an experimental typography project completed while in school. The Futurist movement embraced speed, noise, and the machine age which was expressed in their 1909 manifesto. The goal was to portray their rousing words in a way that related to the movement; so I constructed a functioning conveyor belt.

The second illustration was completed for an internal piece distributed throughout the company. Typically I would be provided with rudimentary computer renderings and would simplify the information into presentable illustrations. The last two posters are an example of internal communications I designed

Designed as an instructional centerfold poster, How To Ollie is a simple easy-to-follow set of directions for youth learning to skateboard. The ollie (or jump) is the cornerstone trick of all skateboard maneuvers, yet one of the few with the steepest learning curves. The challenge was to create an instructional graphic that would clearly detail every motion necessary in the simplest possible way.

Designed, written and illustrated in my graduating year at school. Get your elbows off the fucking table, is a humorous take on modern day etiquette. The book addresses social faux pas' (that wouldn't be dealt with in, say, Emily Post books) while providing insightful remedies. The humorous tone is reflected in the illustrations - designed to look like an instruction manual - and the overall flow which is often separated into amusing spreads and diagrams.

Also, I have been known to use the phrase "I wrote the book on etiquette" whenever possible.

Website redesign for Urban Post Production, one of Toronto's superior sound stages and studios for audio post production. The goal was to showcase their outstanding facilities, work experience and many achievements, while being a smaller boutique production house. The new design brings the studio experience to the viewer.

The introduction to the website begins with a short video animation. It evolves from a singular rotating ring to multiple rings each emitting a letter of the company name, eventually forming what becomes the logo. The design & direction of the video were completed by myself while at iQ inc (sound by...well, Urban)
